Curriculum Overview
All students begin their journey with the Cosmic Kaleidoscope Basics 1 through 4 series, each module 12 weeks long. Alongside these core Basics classes, students have the option to enroll in additional Content Classes based on their interest, ability, and prior training. Upon completing Basics 4, students gain access to a diverse catalog of 50+ classes covering various topics and levels, allowing them to tailor their learning experience to their preferences and capacity. Our emphasis at all levels is on live transmission and ongoing dialogue and integration with teachers and fellow students.
Basics Series
Basics 1
An accessible yet in-depth introduction to the Jyotiṣa chart and its basic astronomy, Basics 1 focuses on a comprehensive study of the grahas (planets), including their strengths, weaknesses, inherent nature, and meanings. Students are also introduced to basic house and constellation meanings, nakṣatra (lunar mansions) identification, daśā sequence, and navāṁśa calculation. Upon completion, students are able to integrate major chart elements with astronomical and symbolic fluency.
Basics 2
The next course in the series teaches the keys to unlocking the narrative within astrological charts. At this stage, charts transform into dynamic portals revealing the intricacies of the human experience. Students learn the art of weaving together the meanings of the grahas and bhāvas (houses) with agility. Patterns of confluence and contrast are explored, and through discussion and practice, students are initiated into the alchemical process of turning the basics into living patterns.
Basics 3
Building upon the foundational knowledge, students learn to identify the fascinating combinations of astrological factors known as yogas — patterns that indicate the size of the canvas a life is played out upon. Students will work directly from the texts, learning not only to catalogue these configurations but also to assess their potential fruition and to understand the messages conveyed by the seers in highlighting these combinations.
Basics 4
Students develop mastery in telling the story of a chart by integrating the material presented in the first three modules. Rather than following a cookbook approach, the goal at the end of the basics series is for students to be well on their way to providing lively and insightful readings tailored to a client’s specific inquiries and offering a framework for understanding their unique destiny patterns.

Interpretation Mentorship
Our teaching paradigm emphasizes regular Digestion Classes. In these sessions, we address the common pitfall known as the "buffet table" syndrome, where students may find themselves overwhelmed by an abundance of techniques without a clear path to integration. Instead of passive consumption, we offer a structured framework through our Digestion Classes. These sessions provide a guided exploration into the art and language of technical skill development and interpretation. Students actively engage with the material to deepen their understanding, while receiving personalized guidance and feedback. Led by experienced instructors, these leveled, small-group sessions focus on developing the art and language of interpretation through practice.
Content Classes
Offered alongside and subsequent to the Basics Series, Content Classes cover a wide range of topics at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. With over 50 classes offered on varying schedules, concurrent with ongoing development of new offerings, students have ample opportunities for exploration and growth.

Sanskrit
At the heart of ancient Indian tradition lies the sacred language of Sanskrit, serving as a bridge to the profound wisdom and timeless teachings of ancient scriptures. Our Sanskrit classes offer a transformative journey into the roots of Indian culture and spirituality, inviting seekers to immerse themselves in the essence of Sanskrit at beginner to advanced levels.

Live Participation
All classes are conducted live in real-time virtual classrooms, fostering active engagement and participation. We believe in the importance of live attendance for creating dynamic and effective learning environments, surpassing the limitations of pre-recorded videos. Active participation in live sessions is expected in classes.
